Design for tattooing
Simplify detail to suit the intended size, line weight, placement and skin movement. Use references responsibly and create original work or obtain permission where required.
Plan the placement
Consider the client’s anatomy, movement, visibility, existing tattoos, direction and how the design reads from a normal viewing position before preparing the stencil.
Transfer cleanly
Prepare skin and stencil materials through a hygienic workflow, position carefully, allow the transfer to settle and know when a poor transfer should be removed and repeated.
